Getting your home ready for babys

Being ready, REALLY ready for your new baby to come home may not actually be possible. But a great place to start is getting your home stocked with what you’ll need for baby and yourself.  Now that’s a lot.

Many talk about the midnight feedings and diaper changes but for new parents it doesn’t sink in until you are actually going through it yourself. With as many feedings and diaper changes newborns have per day, you need to be able to just reach out and grab what you want, without thinking.

Considering the amount of sleep you’ll be getting, thinking may not be an option anyways.  Getting a list together is a great starting point.

The list can be either a baby registry checklist or one you can make up yourself with the help of other mothers.  You can then add or delete from this list.
